H2H Clijsters - Mauresmo 8-6
Last 5 matches Clijsters - Mauresmo 1-4
Last match Clijsters - Mauresmo 1-2 (2-6; 6-3; 3-6) - 2006
Last year's final Antwerp Clijsters - Mauresmo 1-2 (3-6; 6-3; 3-6)

I think it's time for Kim's revenge today in front of home fans. She lost last year's final, but at that time Mauresmo was playing much better than she is doing it today.

This year started not so good for Mauresmo, with 6 matches won and 3 lost so far. On the other side, kim had a good year so far, winning 9 matches and losing only one in Australian Open's semifinals against Sharapova.

This may sound irrelevant, but Kim lost only 12 games in 3 matches so far in Antwerp (avg. 2 games per set!!), while Amelie lost a set, and went to tie break in another one.

I think today Kim will prove that she is one of the best players of the moment, and she will have with her the crowd, the age and the form!

West vs East    -4

I like very much the odds for East here. I don't understand why the bookies see the West Stars favs here. I think the East has a better squad, if we take a look at the first five: Wade, Arenas, James + Shaq and Bosh. On the other side, the players are too old imo and they will have problems in front of creative Wade or Arenas: Duncan, Kobe or Garnett.
Even if West has a better bench, I think East will win this one.

Celtic @ Aberdeen    +1.15

Celtic are playing on Wednesday in CL so today all the players will be thinking about that. They lead the Scottish PL with 15 points and they don't have a strong motivation for today's game. On the other hand, Aberdeen needs the points to get closer to second place which represents CL. Even if Celtic will win today I can't see them winning by more than one goal.

There are 2 big reasons why I see San Antonio winning tonight:
1. San Antonio lost their last 2 matches, and I can't see them losing 3 games in a row.
2. New Jersey will miss 2 very important players tonight: Jefferson and Jason Kidd.
So both teams have 3 great players: Vince Carter, Jason Kidd and Jefferson @ NJ and Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker @ SA. TOnight for the home team only Vince Carter will play, and imo that is enough reason to take SA with med-high stakes.
This is the first match between the 2 teams this year.

Boston lost their last 17 games (!!!!) and I don't believe that that's their really value. Still, if we take a closer look, we can see that out of 17 games, 7 were away, and all these 7 lost games away were under the 8.5 handicap limit!
Minnesota won 2 out of their last 5 games, so I can't say they are big favs tonight. I think Boston will have to win some day, because a 17 games losing streak is just too much imo.
Allen, Ratliff and Szczerbiak will miss tonight game but that's something usual for the Celtics lately.
Minnesota will miss Griffin for tonight's game.

As I said in the other post, Pavel will do everything to win this match. The only thing that can stop him isn't Gasquet, but his age. Pavel is a great plyer that can not play 5 sets. He showed that against Grosjean when he led 2-0 and he finally lost 3-2 as he was very tired. His only chance will be to start the match very good and 1st set odds around 4.50 is a value bet for me.

Facts are Melzer is no 30 ATP, and Acasuso no 40. Real fact is that Jose is a much better player, and as long as Argentina wants to win today, Jose can't relay on Canas winning the last match of the day. Jose has to win this won as I believe that Koubek is playing good atm, and he could win over Canas.
H2H Acasuso - Melzer 1-0
Today I think it will be 2-0.

Richard Gasquet - no 16 in ATP rankings, 19 years old.
Andrei Pavel - no 118 in ATP rankings, 32 years old.
H2H 0-0.
I am one of the people who always bets against old Pavel. But the Pavel playing in Davis Cup is not the one playing in ATP Opens. He painted Romania's flag on his face, he would die for Romania. He is the most patriot romanian player I know, and this will be decisive today. As Waske managed yesterday to win against Germany thanks to his big patriotic heart, today Pavel will die on the field to get victory. I am sure about that.

Chelsea can't afford to lose ManU from sight, so considering ManU has a very easy match today, hosting Charlton, I think Mourihno's boys will do the trick today and Chelsea will win this one.
